Even if he had been healthy enough to play, Shead likely would have only played a minor role in the rotation as the Raptors welcome Immanuel Quickley (hip) back into the lineup against the Bulls. Davion Mitchell will move to the bench and take over Shead's minutes as the backup point guard.

According to Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca, Toronto Raptors point guard Jamal Shead (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Chicago Bulls due to an illness. Shead could be out of action for the first time since December 26th. In his last outing on Wednesday versus the Wizards, he collected 10 points, two rebounds, four assists and one steal in 21 minutes of work. Immanuel Quickley(hip) is also questionable, potentially leaving Davion Mitchell as the only true point guard for the Raptors on Friday.
