C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports that Brooklyn Nets small forward
Jalen Wilson(ankle) will be in action on Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The team downgraded Wilson from questionable to out due to right knee soreness. While the 24-year-old is on the shelf, the Nets will likely turn to
Tyrese Martin and
Trendon Watford to absorb some of the now-available minutes for tonight's contest. Watford will likely start with Wilson and
Cameron Johnson(back), who are both sidelined. He's averaged 8.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 24.4 minutes per game in his last five outings.
