Sat Jun 717:04Darius Garland Available "Under the Right Circumstances"
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland may be available "under the right circumstances." There was once a point where it appeared Garland was on his way out of Cleveland. However, a deal never transpired. Yet, it seems now the topic could be revisited. Garland had a quality season in 2024-25, averaging 20.6 points and 6.7 assists. He also shot 40.1% from deep and appeared in 75 contests, both career-highs. It's unknown what kind of deal it will take for the Cavs to move on from Garland. However, if he is traded this offseason, the team may think more about keeping Ty Jerome, who is an unrestricted free agent.

Garland's return will move Ty Jerome back to the bench. He has been effective coming off the bench all year and should still be a factor in Friday's game.

Thu May 818:13Darius Garland Questionable For Game 3
Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (toe) is considered questionable for Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. He is still nursing a toe injury, which has kept Garland sidelined for five games. Cleveland has used Sam Merrill and Ty Jerome in his spot in the starting lineup. Jerome got his big opportunity in Game 2 but failed miserably, finishing with two points on 1-for-14 shooting. This may prompt Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson to return to Merrill if Garland is not cleared to play on Friday. Merrill notched 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals on Tuesday, marking his best postseason performance by far.

Mon Apr 2819:08Darius Garland Remains Out On Monday
