Sat Apr 1215:33Bobby Portis Taking Sunday Off
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis (rest) won't suit up against Detroit on Sunday. He had a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double when these clubs met on Friday evening. However, his services won't be needed for this one, especially since Milwaukee has nothing to gain or lose on Sunday. Brook Lopez (rest) also won't play, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (shoulder) is doubtful. As such, Kyle Kuzma (ankle), who is probable, should get some meaningful minutes. Pete Nance and Chris Livingston may also be worth considering for DFS lineups.

Thu Feb 2016:23Bobby Portis Suspended 25 Games
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis has been suspended for 25 games for violating the league's anti-drug policy. Portis's agent confirmed the suspension and said that his client unintentionally took a pain medication called Tramadol instead of Toradol. Portis had been more active lately, helping the Bucks fill in for the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf), who is questionable to return on Thursday against the Clippers. Portis averaged 16.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in his 29.8 minutes per game over his last five contests. Without Portis, the Bucks lose a key depth piece and will have to rely more heavily on the recently acquired Kyle Kuzma in addition to Taurean Prince, Brook Lopez, and Andre Jackson Jr. Portis will be eligible to return April 8 against the Timberwolves with just four games left in the regular season.

Wed Feb 518:29Bobby Portis Returning Against Charlotte
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis (personal) will play on Wednesday against Charlotte. He missed the last six games due to a personal matter. But he was upgraded to probable on Tuesday night, so fantasy managers had hope he would be back. Portis will likely head back to the bench, considering Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Damian Lillard (groin), and Brook Lopez (back) are good to go. But with a favorable matchup versus the Hornets on the agenda, Portis deserves a spot in any fantasy lineup.

Mon Feb 319:12Bobby Portis Remains Absent Monday
Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Bobby Portis (personal) will not return to the lineup on Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Initially, there was a chance Portis would be available after the team listed him as doubtful for the game. However, Milwaukee has now ruled him out, meaning Portis will miss a sixth consecutive game. Andre Jackson Jr. and Taurean Prince will be the only regular starters in the Bucks lineup on Monday, so players like AJ Green and Gary Trent Jr. are expected to step up for the team.

Mon Feb 316:40Bobby Portis Considered Doubtful On Monday
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis (personal) has joined the long list of injuries for Monday due to personal reasons and is considered doubtful to suit up against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Portis has missed the team's last six games due to personal reasons, and it seems likely that he'll make it seven in a row on Monday. With the long injury report including Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Damian Lillard (groin), and Khris Middleton (ankle) all ruled out, the Bucks will have to reach deep into their reserves. AJ Green, Gary Trent Jr., and Pat Connaughton will all likely see some added minutes. Green is in the top of the three in streaming options after dropping 14 points, three rebounds, one assist, and two steals off of the bench in their last game.

Thu Jan 3020:32Bobby Portis Remains Out On Friday
Milwaukee Bucks center Bobby Portis (personal) remains out ahead of Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Portis will now miss his fourth game in a row due to personal reasons. The Bucks haven't given a timetable on Portis, so for now fantasy managers should consider him as day-to-day. Portis has seen his playing time take a dip over the last few weeks. It'll be interesting to see what kind of role he has in the rotation once he's cleared to play again. The Bucks will likely use a committee approach between Pat Connaughton, Taurean Prince, and Gary Trent Jr. until Portis returns. Between the three, Trent appears to be getting the biggest boost in playing time.

Mon Jan 2716:15Bobby Portis To Miss Matchup Against Jazz For Personal Reasons
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis (personal) will miss Monday night's game against the Utah Jazz. Portis also missed Saturday's game for personal reasons. The 29-year-old has been a decent contributor off of Milwaukee's bench, averaging 13.4 PPG and 7.9 RPG this season. In Saturday night's loss there was no apparent beneficiary off of Milwaukee's bench, rather the starters played extended minutes to cover Portis' absence. Expect more of the same against the Jazz, making Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez ideal pieces to target on Monday night.

Sat Jan 2515:32Bobby Portis Won't Play Against The Clippers
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis (personal) won't play on Saturday night versus the Clippers. The veteran wasn't listed on the injury report. However, he won't suit up due to a "family matter." Portis has been a quality contributor for Milwaukee this season, as expected, averaging 13.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists, so the team is hoping he'll be back in the lineup on Monday evening in Utah. While Portis is out, Gary Trent Jr. and Taurean Prince could be in line for more work, although both haven't been consistent fantasy producers this season.

Sat Nov 16 202403:29Bobby Portis Doubtful Versus The Hornets
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis (elbow) is listed as doubtful heading into Saturday's game versus the Charlotte Hornets. He wasn't available for Milwaukee's overtime win over the Detroit Pistons. As a result, Taurean Prince received 45 minutes of action, ending the evening with 15 points and 10 rebounds. If Portis remains on the shelf on Saturday, Prince is worth consideration for fantasy lineups. The 30-year-old could also remain a top DFS value option, even more so with Damian Lillard (concussion) missing his third-consecutive contest.

Wed May 1 202409:11Bobby Portis Returns To Double-Double Form On Tuesday
Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Bobby Portis was back to his best against Indiana on Tuesday, helping the team extend the series in Game 5 with a 29-point, 10-rebound double-double. He shot 14-for-24 from the field and had one assist and one steal as well. This was an impressive bounce-back performance from Portis after he was limited to only four points and three rebounds in Game 4 due to an early ejection. Filling in for Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) in the first unit, Portis has done a great job, averaging 15.8 points and 10.6 rebounds in the series. He should remain a double-double threat even if Antetokounmpo is cleared for action and Portis heads back to the bench.

Sun Apr 28 202419:34Bobby Portis Ejected On Sunday
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis was ejected in Sunday's playoff matchup with the Pacers. Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) and Damian Lillard (Achilles) weren't available for this contest, so Portis was expected to play a pivotal role offensively. However, after receiving two technicals for a physical confrontation with Andrew Nembhard, his night is over. Portis will finish with four points and three rebounds, with AJ Green, Andre Jackson Jr., and Pat Connaughton expected to see more action for the shorthanded Bucks.

Tue Apr 16 202409:41Bobby Portis Happy With Life Under Doc Rivers
Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Bobby Portis has given head coach Doc Rivers a vote of confidence, saying he has unlocked a whole new player in him. Rivers' fit with the Bucks has been questioned heavily after he replaced Adrian Griffin in late January and finished the regular season with a losing record at the helm. He went 17-19 with the Bucks, which saw the team drop to the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Portis averaged 15.3 points and 8.9 rebounds under Rivers, a slight improvement from his season averages. The 29-year-old could end up playing a very big role in the first-round matchup against Indiana, with Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) in a race to get healthy for the series.

Fri Apr 12 202418:49Bobby Portis Available To Play Versus Oklahoma City
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis (rest) will be available to play in Friday's contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 29-year-old was originally listed as questionable on earlier injury reports but will be active for this game. Fantasy managers will be happy to see Portis on the court, as he is coming off a dominant performance on Wednesday, scoring 30 points and securing nine rebounds while recording five steals against the Orlando Magic. Damian Lillard (adductor) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) are not playing, which will likely create plenty of opportunities for Portis.

Fri Jan 12 202411:01Bobby Portis Posts Big Double-Double In Blowout Win
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis may not be posting the same type of numbers that he did last season, but he's always a threat to go off in any given game. The 28-year-old posted one of his best games of the season en route to a blowout win over the Boston Celtics on Thursday. The veteran forward finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and one steal while shooting 11-for-18 overall and 5-for-6 from deep. For the fantasy managers that have hung on to him in deeper leagues, this was an amazing sight, but his value in 12-team leagues and fewer hasn't been as great. Portis has even seen fewer minutes this year, so he's still a bit harder to trust in smaller leagues.

Wed Aug 30 202309:22Bobby Portis Has Very Productive 16 Minutes Against Jordan
Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Bobby Portis came alive at the FIBA World Cup on Wednesday, producing the goods at both ends of the court in a blowout victory over Jordan. The 28-year-old notched 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting and registered six rebounds with three steals in 16 minutes. Playing as a backup, Portis had logged only 22 minutes across the first two games of the tournament, but the Americans completely dominated Wednesday's game, and head coach Steve Kerr decided to spread the minutes around more. Every Team USA player logged at least 12 minutes and nobody saw over 21 minutes on the court. Portis & Co. will continue the show on Friday versus Montenegro.

Fri Mar 10 202310:18Bobby Portis Scores Season-High 28 Points
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis got the start on Thursday while Giannis Antetokounmpo (illness) remained on the sidelines. The 28-year-old didn't disappoint by posting one of his best games of the season with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists on 11-for-15 shooting from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. When he's on the floor alongside Brook Lopez, his offensive game is maximized since he can score from all three levels. Any time he's inserted in the starting lineup, he's an instant streaming option for anyone that may need an extra big man.

LeBron James Injury Update

James injured his right foot during the third quarter of Sunday's comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks. It was a tense few seconds after the multi-time MVP clutched his foot after suffering what was deemed a "non-contact injury." The concern grew to greater heights after he was overheard saying, "I heard a pop." Situations like this are never good, as many were concerned that an Achilles tear could be the culprit.https://twitter.com/FanDuelTV/status/1630602449227595777?s=20Yet, after James gathered himself, he tightened his shoe and finished the game, totaling 26 points, eight rebounds, one block, and one steal. Head coach Darvin Ham appeared optimistic while speaking postgame, stating the 38-year-old was "good."However, that couldn't be further from the case, with The Athletic's Shams Charania reporting that James would "miss an extended period of time" because of the foot injury. Charania later added that the all-time scoring leader would "require multiple opinions."https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1630363560051187712?s=20

LeBron James' Season Recap

Despite James' advanced NBA age, he's still productive. In 47 appearances, he's averaged 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. While his three-point percentage has regressed, that's never been his strong suit.James was also named an All-Star captain while recently passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA's all-time scoring leader.https://twitter.com/NBAonTNT/status/1623184801284104192?s=20That said, despite some high-level accomplishments, the year has been a rough one for the 2003 No. 1 overall pick. He's battled left foot soreness for nearly the entire season, so much so that he routinely carried some type of injury designation heading into almost all of his games over the last few months.... Sun Feb 26 202312:51Bobby Portis Starting Versus Phoenix
Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis will start in Sunday's matchup versus the visiting Phoenix Suns. Giannis Antetokounmpo (quadriceps) is out after exiting in the first quarter on Friday against the Miami Heat. That said, the multi-time MVP has been banged up all year, so there's a chance he'll also miss Tuesday's game in Brooklyn. As a result, Portis, who has averaged 16.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, and shot 38.9% from downtown in 14 starts this season, will be a must-start fantasy. The 28-year-old will also be a popular DFS option for those participating in early contests.

Wed Feb 22 202322:34Bobby Portis Expected To Suit Up On Friday
Milwaukee Bucks center Bobby Portis (knee) is expected to suit up for Friday's game against the Miami Heat. The big man has been sidelined nearly a month, but was able to practice on Wednesday without any issues. The fact he has been out for so long means Portis will probably be limited during his first game back. His return is good news for the Bucks who could be without Giannis Antetokounmpo (wrist) for Friday's game. That being said, Portis could become a decent streaming option even in a limited role without Antetokounmpo available. It's also worth noting that Jae Crowder is expected to make his team debut on Friday. He should absorb extra minutes if the Bucks are without their superstar forward. Fantasy managers will need to check back on Friday for more information.
